We are excited to announce we have a new project in Houston! We are working with the City of Houston to produce a Housing Resource Guide.
Through a series of interviews and in-depth research, we are compiling all of the resources that people need to know about and compiling the necessary information into one clear, user-friendly print document. Once complete, the Resource Guide will be distributed to low- and moderate-income families and individuals in Houston — with a special focus on those who do not regularly use the internet.
The guide will include facts like program information, contact numbers, and application information for a range of housing programs offered by the Housing and Community Development Department, as well as the Houston Housing Authority and other non-profit partners. Programs include home repair, disaster recovery repairs, homebuyer assistance, subsidized rental housing, fair housing, and more.
