Bringing Affordable Housing to Corpus Christi

400 Residents of Hillcrest and Washington Coles neighborhood in Corpus Christi, affected by the replacement and reconstruction of the Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge have been offered to participate in a voluntary acquisition and relocation program managed by the Port Authority and TxDot. Families that are participating in the program will look for comparable homes available in the Corpus Christi Housing Market which limits residents choice in both location and housing choices. Due to the affordable housing crisis in the area, [bc] in partnership with CDCB is working to bring affordable housing opportunities and choice to these and other families in Corpus Christi.
